The Lakes Lough Lene, Lough Ennell, Lough Owel, Lough Derravaragh and Lough Sheelin are all reachable within maximal half an hours drive.An ideal spot to explore fishing.
In 2017 Kilpatrick Cottage was completely renovated. It achieved a BER rating of B2 .
